Summerlin

Located along the western edge of Las Vegas, Summerlin is a 22,500 acre master-planned community featuring homes of all shapes and sizes. It's a beautiful place to live, with the Spring Mountain Range and Red Rock Canyon practically right outside your front door. Built on land originally purchased by Howard Hughes in the 1950's, Summerlin is consistently ranked as one of America's best selling planned communities.

Unlike some other communities, Summerlin has places to live for people of most income levels. There are 17 villages currently in various stages of development. At the top end of the scale are the custom homes of 'The Ridges in Summerlin', featuring home sites in six neighborhoods. The other villages include everything from single-family homes to townhomes to condominiums to apartments.

Recreational options are a big part of the attraction of Summerlin. There are 21 parks either completed or in the planning stages. There are 9 golf courses in Summerlin, including two Tournament Players Club (TPC) courses. Parkland, golf courses, and other open space accounts for around 20% of the total land space within Summerlin.
